He is survived by: his children, Scott Newman of Galesburg, Charles Tomlinson, Jr. (Tracy) of Galesburg, Christine Dhabalt (Jeffery) of Woodhull, Christopher Tomlinson (Myrna) of Davenport, Charlene Tomlinson (Alfaro) of Galesburg, Bruce Onstad of Creve Coeur, Michelle Onstand of Gilson and Eric Tomlinson (Misty) of Austin, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Terry, Trey, Renee, Amber, Rebecca, Patrick, Kristin, Nicholas, Travis, Gabriella, Carley, Bernardo, Camden, Jeffery, Destiney, Garnel, Jalin, Shannon, Meranda, Brinana and Keagan; his great grandchildren, Johnathan, Jocelynn, Jason, Cash, Avery, Mackenzie, Heather, Brent, Charles, Karisma, Emetine, Lincoln, Ada Sue, Zoe, Natalie, Aiden, Milie, Xaden, Xyla, Stella, Olivia, Kellin, Sydney, Chaden and Mason; his great great grandchildren, Marina and Malachi; and his siblings, Narda Sue Tomlinson of San Jose, Robert Tomlinson of Low Point, Terry Tomlinson of Green Valley, Ernest Tomlinson of Beecher City and Jerry Tomlinson of Galesburg.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
