It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Colwell Jr. of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charles E.; his brother Timothy Colwell; and his stepdaughter Valerie Venuti. He is survived by: his mother Betty L. Colwell, Sr. (Shepherd) of Galesburg; his son Christopher Colwell (Rose) of Galesburg; his siblings, Tony Colwell (Marilyn) of Galesburg and Debbie Rathburn of Abingdon, Illinois; his stepdaughter Andela D. Reed (Steve) of Manito, Illinois; and his granddaughter Mercy Sickles.
