With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole A. Hyman of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John II and Mary Davis II (Reeve); her daughters, Celine Hyman, Charley Armstrong and Cynthia Main; her grandson Dylan Main; and her sisters, Joyce Compton and Laurie Landis.
She is survived by: her husband Willis M. Hyman; her children, Shawn Hyman (Nanette Vaglica) of California, Mary Foster (Craig) of Bushnell, Jenny Hyman of Galesburg and Roxie Leahy (Bill) of Alexis; her grandchildren, Tony Main, David Armstrong, Nick Hyman (Amanda), Dustin Foster (Jessica), Carley Promisson (Kyle), Mackenzie Foster (David Bracey), Tyler Leahy (Megan) and Zach Leahy (Kelsey Meredith); her great grandchildren, Emma, Eire Armstrong, Nathan Hyman, Natalie, Lillian Foster, Samuel and Miah Promisson; and her siblings, Pat Rose of Knoxville, Mary Sholl of Milan, Paula Rogis (Jerry) of Clinton, Kathy Knox of London Mills and John Davis III (Karen) of London Mills.
