With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bret L. Austin (Galesburg, Illinois), who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Austin and Betty J. Austin (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Kim; his daughter Jaimie Jo Austin of Galesburg; his sister Carla Bledsoe of Galesburg; and his granddaughters, Milynn, Azlynn and Roslynn Taylor. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the family c/o Kimberly Austin to establish a memorial fund at a later date.
