Beverley J. Linn Obituary
The memory of Beverley J. Linn of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Beverley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beverley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yale James and Helena F. James (Calfee); her husband Paul A. Linn; and her sisters, Belva Freml and Bettye Pachter.
She is survived by: her children, James A. Phillips (Louise) of Batesville, Mississippi, Janice A. Johnson (Jim) of Knoxville, Illinois and Paulann F. Washabaugh (Greg) of Knoxville, Illinois. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Linwood Cemetery (1854 W Main St, Galesburg, IL 61401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church, Hospice Compassus or FISH Food Pantry.
