It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Meier of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Colona, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Kershaw and Bernice Kershaw (Crouch); her husband William "Bill" Meier; and her siblings, Darrell, Buzz and Donna.
She is survived by: her children, Kim McCormick, Kyle Meier (Linda) and Karen Berntson (Matt). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking memorials be given to Seminary Manor, Galesburg, IL in recognition of the wonderful care they gave Betty the last 10 months of her life.
