He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Frank and Emma Linnea Stomberg (Hallin); his brothers, Duane (Carol) and Jim; and his brother-in-law Randall Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Stomberg (Roberts); his children, Ben "Stone" Stomberg (Amanda) of Galesburg and Heather Stomberg of Woodridge, Illinois; his grandson Alijah Pedersen of Galesburg; his siblings-in-law, Betty Hicks (Terry) of Galesburg, Brenda Lindsey (Gary) of East Galesburg, Patty Roberts of Galesburg and Rick Roberts (Anna) of Galesburg; and his family House Peoria. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Illinois Home Health Care, Hospice Compassus, and Family House Peoria.
