It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ashby of Galesburg, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry L. Johnson and Roberta "Bobbi" Louise Johnson (Hartman); and her son Perry. She is survived by: her husband Lou of Galesburg; her children, Christopher Ashby (Brandy) of Galesburg and Sarah Ashby (Wade Kruemmelbein) of Daytona Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Zachery, Jordan, Danielle, Cole, Gabi, Louis, Carsen, Carlee and Caden; and her sister Brenda "B. J." Johnson (Dorothea) of Ozone, Arkansas.. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be in Barb's memory to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
