It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna May Engholm (Galesburg, Illinois), born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Swedish Nelson (Herman) and Amy Nelson; her sisters, Eva and Martha; and her husband Harry Engholm of Woodhull.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Stewart (Bob) and Jeff Engholm (Susan); her grandchildren, Craig Stewart (Liz), Beth Stewart, Kyle Stewart (Nicki), Isaac Engholm (Christina) and Hannah Engholm Stiedemann (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Ellie, Haddie, Jace, Tate, Will, Alice, Elijah, Levi and Owen.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
