He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Jean Foster and Albert F. Holmes, Sr.; and his siblings, Patricia Deets, Casey Barnhill and Michael Restus.
He is survived by: his former wife Lori Holmes; his children, Tiffany Holmes of Moline, Ryan Holmes (Carissa) of Knoxville, Andrew Holmes (Danielle) of Galesburg and Heather Holmes (Craig) of Galesburg; his grandchildren, Andres, Ariana, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Kaleia, Zayne, Ayden, Payton, Bryson, Braxton, Jaden, Joziah, Cejay and Citi; and his sisters, Jodi Holmes (Dallas Angelo) of Oklahoma, Roberta Kroupa (Dan) of Kansas and Rosanne Carter of Texas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to any organization meant for recovering addicts. Family has requested no memorial contributions be given to Salvation Army in his name.
