Tom Wienen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2021, Tom Wienen (Galena, Illinois), born in Dubuque, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harold Wienen; his parents-in-law, Don and Betty Richardson; and his brother Jim Wienen (Lois). He is survived by: his mother Mary Wienen (Oldenburg); his wife Connie Richardson; his uncle Al Green; his grandchildren, Ben, Cassie, Brady, Lucy, Henry Wienen, Nick, Tilli, Thomas, Millie and Samuel Wienen; his brother Dan Wienen (Cathy); and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Creighton (Jack), Nancy Leitzinger (Bill) and Marsha Potthoff (Drew). He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a drive-through visitation for Tom will be held from 3 to 6 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the Furlong Funeral Chapel.
He taught by example from early on and gave a firm foundation for the boys to learn and carry on on their own.
