He was predeceased by: his parents, William Westemeier and Minnie Westemeier (Holland); his wife Marilyn J. "Mary" Herrick; his children, Tommy, Terry Westemeier and Marianne Westemeier; and his grandson Jeremy Westemeier.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Roberts (Larry), Paula Lyden, Patti Eggers (Larry), Jerry Westemeier (Debbie) of Galena and Tim Westemeier (Jenifer) of Edgewood, NM. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
