It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thaddeus Ozga of Galena, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Ozga and Catherine Ozga; his wife Dorothy Ozga (Yurkowsky); his children, Kathleen Pekala (Ken) of Keller, TX, John Ozga (Deb Cook) of Travelers Rest, SC and James Ozga (Laura Larkner) of Crystal Lake, IL; his grandchildren, Kyle Pekala, Kristofer Ozga (Shelly Jung), Kelly Vadodaria (Bhavin), Michael Ozga, Kevin Pekala, Bekah Nordtvedt (Ryan), Kristen Pekala, Andrew Ozga and Megan Ozga; and his great grandchildren, Adalynn Ozga, Everly Ozga, Karina Vadodaria and Chase Nordtvedt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Ecole L'Erudit de Léogâne (Ted's daughter-in-law serves as a medical volunteer and director) - a school providing health care, nutrition and education to some of Haiti's poorest children.
