Susanne C. Lighthart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Susanne C. Lighthart of Galena, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Corken and Dorothy Corken (Sear); her spouse Lane Scott Lighthart; her significant other David Kriesant; and her siblings-in-law, Jane Corken and Tim Lassance.
She is survived by: her friend Thursday Wine Bridge; her stepmother Lois Corken; and her siblings, John Corken, Jane Del Real (Nick), Mary Kay Frick (Robert), Pat Corken (Marsha), Peg Corken, Rose Weser (Charles), Kathy Conner (Vince), Elizabeth Sear, Suanne Kamerick (Wayne) and Tim Sear (Pam). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with state and federal guidance on gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be receiving family and friends in groups of smaller than ten after 10 AM at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Workshop of Galena in memory of Sue.
