He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alan Bernstein and Beatrice Bernstein (Mendelsohn); his wife Pam Bernstein; his sister Joan Krawitz; his nieces, Sandra Krawitz and Reneé Kosiark (Mike); his great-niece Maya; and his nephew Ryan Kosiarek.
In accordance with state and federal guidance on gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be conducting public services at this time.
Memorials may be given to the Natural Resources Defense Council in his memory.
