He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Harris and Bernice Harris (Holland); his daughter Jennifer; and his brother Floyd. He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Harris of Galena and Charles "Duke" Harris; his sister-in-law Susan Harris; his nieces and nephews, Chuck Harris (Laura), Mike Harris (Sonja), Paul Harris, Jodi Schoenhardt (Jon) and Cari Hulscher (Dan); and his aunt Jane Foecking of Galena.
