She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ortscheid and Elizabeth Ortscheid (Koehler); her husband Jerry; her son-in-law Kenneth Long; her siblings, Mary Branagan, Betty Keleher, Camillus Gassen, Delos, Bill, Arnold and Vincent Ortschied; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Branagan, Harold Keleher, Ray Gassen, Pearl and Marcella Ortscheid.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Soppe (Susan), Geraldine Long, Theresa Kelly (Tom), Donna Manemann (Gerald), Rita Mae Colin (Larry), Barbara Prechodnik (Joseph), Philip Soppe (Paula), John "Jack" Soppe (Jane) and Timothy Soppe (Mary). She is also survived by thirty grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
