With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Cogan (Galena, Illinois), who passed away on May 16, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Cogan and Anna Cogan (VandeDrink); and his sister Viola Foecking. He is survived by: his wife Betty Wills; his son Dan (Becky); and his grandchildren, Julia, Anna and Evan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with state and federal guidance on gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public service at this time.
