He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kaiser and Margaret Kaiser (Gerhards); his spouse Shirley A. Miller; his brothers, Merlin, Delbert, William and Harry; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Miller, Bernita and Alice Kaiser.

He is survived by: his sons, Keith (Paula) of Galena, Kevin (Cyndi) of Galena and Kurt (Angie) of Galena; his grandchildren, Jennifer (PJ), Tyler, Christopher, Casey (Megan), Darien (Kyle), Gavin (Tiffiney), Kailyn (Ross) and Kassity (Matt); his great grandchildren, Payton of Galena, Chloe of Galena, Walker of Galena, Austin of Galena, Kennedy of Galena, Reese of Galena, Bennett of Galena, Keigan of Galena, Everlee of Galena and Remi of Galena; his siblings, Robert (Judy) of Kieler, WI and Annette of Dubuque, IA; and his close friend Carol Frank.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Dubuque in memory of Dick.
