She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Hilby; her stepson Nick Hilby; her parents, Richard Barton and Mary Barton; her brother-in-law Chris Splinter; and her former husband Doug Pluemer.
She is survived by: her children, Katie Symmonds (Jake) and Ben Pluemer (Alex); her grandchildren, Maeve, Freya Symmonds, Elena, Nora Pluemer, Avery and Isaac Werner; her siblings, Peggy Barton, Penny Splinter and Steve Barton (Val); her close friend Roger Herrig; and also Wendy Werner (Jeremy). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
They kindly ask that contributions be made to the Polly Hilby Memorial Fund instead of flowers.
