She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michael and Mary Buckley; her husband Frank Slaughter; her siblings, Helen, Gerald and John; her granddaughter Chris; and her daughter-in-law Terri.

She is survived by: her children, Martina Slaughter of London, England (Leslye Miller) and William Slaughter of Galena. She is also survived by three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
