It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester Ackerman of Galena, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Leona Ackerman; his children, Diane Goldring and Bryan Ackerman (Jennifer) of Galena, IL; his grandchildren, Alisa Copeland (Rod), Jodi Washburn (Brian) and Sean Deck (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Abbey Washburn, Audrey and Abby Deck.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions the family will not receive friends.
