Leo C. Kern Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2023, Leo C. Kern of Galena, Illinois, born in Garber, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kern and Marie Kern (Trumm); and his siblings, Donna Gentry, Marylyn Burdt, Jerome and Ronald Kern.
He is survived by: his wife Treva McFall; his children, Charles Kern (Jinae), Rhonda Barrow (David) and Mary Kern (Guy Suesuntisook); his grandchildren, Michael Kern and Mira Suesuntisook; and his sister Norma Jean Kirpes of Dubuque, IA. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
He was a church volunteer, one of the first Eucharist ministers, and an usher for several years until the pandemic.
