It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Butts in Galena, Illinois, born in Marion, Illinois, who passed away on June 10, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Butts and Pearl Butts (Ward). He is survived by: his wife Judith Rowett of Galena; his children, John B. Butts (Jim Abaduddo) of Palm Springs, CA, Mary Dennis (Mike) of Winfield, IL and Kathy Kullik (Michael) of St. Paul, MN; and his stepchildren, David Mason (Michele), Peter Mason, Melissa Mason and Laurie Latham (Josh). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
In accordance with state and federal guidance on gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public service at this time.
