She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Feeley and Irene Feeley (Muchow); her husband James D. Benson Jr.; her grandchildren, Dustin, Jennifer, Jamie and Ashley Knautz; her sister Mary Brodrecht; and her brother-in-law Mel Brodrecht.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Knautz (Keith) of Galena and Dan Benson (Amy); her grandchildren, Tim Knautz (Jodi), Danielle Benson, Sara and Sydney Benson; her great grandchild Stella Knautz; and her sisters, Carol Metzger (Bob) and Ann Oldenburg (Mark). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
