Janet L. Spillane Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet L. Spillane of Galena, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janet L. Spillane to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph "Al" Hanson and Zita Hanson (Vance); her husband Barry Spillane; her brother Dave Hanson; her brothers-in-law, Ron (Rose), Bob (LaVonne), Jim and Joe Spillane; her niece Sherri Marshall; and her granddaughter Leigh.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Clancy (Tara Edmonds) of Hazel Green, WI, Sarah Cassens of Wesley Chapel, FL, Michele Olson (Adam Smith) of Hazel Green, WI and Becky Fecht (Mitch) of Hazel Green, WI; her grandchildren, Shane, Dakota, Lexi, Ashlynn, Tiffany, Derek, Peyton and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Sloan, Greyson and Zane; her siblings, Verona Freiburger (Terry), Paul Hanson (Judy) and Wayne Hanson (Ann); and her sisters-in-law, Berna Hanson, Diane Holland (Ed), Rosemary Crawford, Jean Maxwell and Leyvi Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haudenshield Funeral Home & Crematory (2424 STATE ROAD 80 # 825, Cuba City, WI 53807). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of plants & flowers, a Janet L. Spillane Memorial Fund has been established.
