He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Kay Clark; his children, Stephanie Mahaffy of Westminster, MD, Carol Lee Thurman of Dubuque, IA and Anthony Thurman (Amanda) of Dubuque, IA; and his siblings, John W. Thurman (Helen) of Farmington, MO, Paul J. Thurman (Shirley) of Monroe, LA, David G. Thurman (Sheila) of Atlanta, GA, Thomas J. Thurman (Sarah) of Rocky Mount, NC and Judy L. Heitman (Gerald) of Patton, MO.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
