It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. White of Galena, Illinois, born in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 29, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle White and Minola White (Turpin); his siblings, David, Carol Kevern and Pam Schumacher; and his close friends, Annie, Sadie, Bandit, Snuggles Pepper and Muffy.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Heiser; his son James White (Sara); his grandchildren, Hope of Galena and Sam White of Galena; his stepchildren, Renee Montgomery (Brian) of Cape Coral, FL, Teri Curtis (Jeff) of Galena and Brian Phillips (Pam) of Galena; and his siblings, Sandra Brodrecht (Gene) of Marion, IA, Dale White (Roxanne) of Galena and Gary White (Nancy Olson White) of Helena, MT. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requests donations are made to Hospice of Dubuque in memory of Jim.
