It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Holman of Galena, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Holman and Mary Holman (Storey); his brothers, Kenneth and John; his sister-in-law Margaret; his aunt Lourene Bartsch; and his brother Robert Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Wendy; his children, Richard and Gina Beeman (Charlie); his stepdaughter Jodi; his grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas, Erick, Grant, Carli, Drew, Brooklyn, Riley and Aubrie; his sisters-in-law, Deniece and Patricia Holman; his cousin Dick Bartsch (Carla); and his nephew Dan Sertle. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
He was embracing their principles of brotherhood and charity.
