He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Sr. Pattison and Helen Pattison; his wife Verda Margaret Stroup of Dubuque; his children, David (Jane), Tim (Michelle) and Tina Jensen (Steve) of Dubuque; his sister Bonnie Teats; and his son Michael. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
