James H. Curtis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James H. Curtis of Galena, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Curtis and Florence Curtis (Hasken). He is survived by: his siblings, Jeanette Wiederholt (Paul) of Hendersonville, TN and Ken Curtis (Heather) of Shullsburg, WI. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (400 Franklin St, Galena, IL 61036).
