We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2023, Doyle David Smith of Galena, Illinois, born in Indianola, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burle Smith and Lilly Smith (Maddox); his brothers, Hubert and William; his granddaughter April Campbell; and his daughter-in-law Diane Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Rousseau; his children, Kenneth Smith of Harwood Heights, IL, Lori Vines of Photos, WI and Sandra Morris (Jim) of South Amana, IA; his grandchildren, Savannah Espinoza (Danny), Ashlynn Bishop (Bryan), Alec Morris, Robby, Rick Campbell and Tyler Vines; and his great grandchildren, Briana, Demetrius, Aniya, Leana, Karra, Grayson, Alessandra and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Dubuque in memory of Doyle.
