He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Rector and Florence Rector (Tennyson). He is survived by: his wife Maria Rector; his children, Catherine McCoy (Steve), Mary Braden (Joel) and James Rector; his brother Jeffrey Rector (Lisa); and his friend Lottie Sieka.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (400 Franklin St, Galena, IL 61036). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the United Churches of Galena Food Pantry or St. Mary's Catholic Church in memory of Doug.
