It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Sanderson of Galena, Illinois, born in Benton, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilbert Heim and Velma Heim (Phoenix); her husband Edward "Ed" C. Sanderson; her children, Pam Bloor (John), Brad Sanderson (Sukcha) and Becky Leifheit (Randy); and her brother Rick Heim. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The family requests donations to the VFW Auxiliary of Galena and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Dot.
