She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Rury and Eldora M. Rury (Lisk); her parents-in-law, Phillip and Mary Hefel; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Allen, Mary Hefel, James Hefel and Robert Allen.
She is survived by: her son Michael (Cindy Heller); her husband Clyde Hefel; her grandchildren, Ethan, Addison and Owen; her siblings, Don Rury (Deb), Jerry Rury (Joy), Bonnie Murphy (Terry), Debbi Houy and Rebecca Rury (Gerald Treat); and her brother-in-law Leo Hefel (Sharon). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to Hospice of Dubuque in memory of Donna.
