With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Ellwood of Galena, Illinois, born in Bellwood, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ellwood and Sheila Ellwood (Recobs); and his sons, Timothy and Gregory. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Fowler (Keith), Jaclyn Houy (William), Kevin Ellwood (Martha), John Ellwood (Lauren), Brian Ellwood (Donna), Thomas Ellwood (Tim Clarke), Margaret Graziano (Paul) and Sheila Bellizzi (John); his daughter-in-law Margie Ellwood; and his close friend Karen Kumbera. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
