He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clifford A. Elsbree and Emma Elsbree Sr. (Northrup); his son Greg; his brother Phil; and his siblings-in-law, Katie and Chuck Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Cathie P. Beach; his son Phil (Heidi) of Rockton; his daughter-in-law Denise of Aurora; his stepdaughter Paige Saba of Galena; his grandchildren, Brittany of Somonauk, IL, Megan of Oxford, OH, Savannah of San Diego, CA, Lillie (Josh), Mina of Tucson, AZ, Yasmeen of Norfolk, VA, Branndon (Elizabeth) of Oswego, IL, Colin of Bourbonnais, IL and Dylan (Maggie) of Chicago; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Nathan, Zoe, Kash, Eli and Gabriel; his nieces, Anne Rene, Kim Elsbree and Susan Bennett; his siblings, Katie Granger and Paul (Madlyn); and his sister-in-law Connie Bennett.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Casper Creek Natural Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to The Galena Center for the Arts, Grace Outreach Committee, and Purrfection Cat Rescue in memory of Al.
