It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifford C. Davis of Galena, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hillary and Edith Helen Davis (Taylor); his former wife Mary Jane Scholl; his wife Audrey Kieffer; and his brothers, Virgil, Vernon, Lawrence, Raymond and Lyle.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara Wright (Michael), Theresa Ernst (Jeffrey), Robert Davis (Michalle), Mary Kay Avenarius (Michael), Richard Davis (Ronda) and Sharon Bird (Brian); and his sister Madonna Merritt. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
