She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Moon and Leona Moon (Heim); her husband Cletus L. Koester; and her father-in-law Les Koester (Irene). She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Betty R. Bush and Ken Koester (Mary); her godsons, John Cook and Matt Calvert; and her close friend Bailey. She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, and nephews, her many friends.
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2021, at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Galena.
The family request no flowers, but donations can be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church, St Jude's, and MADD in memory of Carol.
