It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry V. Spillane of Galena, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Spillane and Alberta Spillane (Leifker); his brothers, Bob, Jim and Joe Spillane; and his daughter Sherri Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Hanson; his children, Michele Olson (Adam Smith) of Hazel Green, WI, Becky Fecht (Mitch) of Hazel Green, WI, Scott Clancy (Tara Edmonds) of Hazel Green, WI and Sarah Cassens of Port Richey, FL; his grandchildren, Shane, Dakota, Lexi, Ashlynn, Tiffany, Derek, Peyton and Hannah; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Sloan and Greyson; and his siblings, Ron Spillane, Diane Holland (Ed), Rosemary Crawford and Jeanie Maxwell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Barry V. Spillane Memorial Fund has been established.
