She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross and Iona Potter (Ehredt); her siblings, Robert Potter and Alberta Mercer; and her siblings-in-law, Keith Mercer, Dorothy A. Brown and Edmund Brown.
She is survived by: her husband C. Eugene Maeder; her family, Bonny Maeder (Michele McGill) of Rock Valley, IA, Brenda Holmes (Steven) of Geneva, IL and Jeff Maeder (Cindy) of Galena, IL; and her grandson Elliott Holmes of Chicago, IL..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque in memory of her.
