She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Henry and Gertrude Elizabeth Lawrence Brown; her son-in-law Rich Harter; and her siblings, Joseph, Junior, Jeffrey Brown and Betty Gunnels.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Benefield (Laurie) of Lakeview, Mark Benefield (Jackie) of Chaffee, Missouri, Terrie Harter of Cape Girardeau, Jill Benefield of Gale and Cathy Dishinger (Jan) of Cape Girardeau; and her siblings, Mike Brown (Linda) of McClure, Peggy Benefield of Gale and Patti Fairbank (Ed) of Anna, Illinois. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
