He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius C. Vogt and Frieda Vogt Sr.; and his siblings, Robert Vogt, Lloyd Vogt, Calvin Vogt, Cornelius Vogt Jr., Harold Vogt, Virginia Esker, Joyce Esker and Laverne Vogt.
He is survived by: his wife Kay F. Vogt; his children, Michele Thien (Bill) and Lisa Shevlin (Mark); his grandchildren, Erick Thien (Megan), Abbey Thien (Michael), Evan Thien, Marlie Shevlin and Drew Shevlin; his great grandchildren, Clarke and Attlee Thien; his sister Jeannie Rahn; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Ruby (Bill), Denny Krebel (Janel) and Gary Krebel (Tammy). He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
