He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Kraft and Jenny Kraft (Vogel); his wife Marjorie A. McMurry; his son David Kraft; his siblings, Margaret VonOven, John, Richard, Raymond, Dean and Paul L. Kraft; and his son-in-law Louis Shepler.
He is survived by: his friend Pete Simpson; and his children, Linda Baker of Clinton, IA, Ellen Shepler (Craig Smith) of Fulton, IL and Kenneth Kraft (Laura) of Clinton, IA. He is also survived by one grandson; five granddaughters; eight great-grandsons; five great-granddaughters; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established to the American Heart Association and Schmaling Memorial Public Library in Fulton.
