She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lee and Glada Bowen (Craig); and her siblings, Alpha Roberts, Stanley Bowen, Sam Bell and Jerry Bell.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald F. Milnes; her children, Debra Dunaway (Rich) of Morrison, IL, Rick Milnes of Fulton, IL and Dan Milnes (Kathy) of Morrison, IL; her stepsons, Shannon Kimmer of Clinton, IA, Allan Kimmer (Sara) of Clinton, IA and Rowdy Kimmer of Clinton, IA; her grandchildren, Jodie Gaffey (Wess), Breanna Milnes, Danielle Mills (Joe), Allyson Milnes (Quinton Stage), Zachary J. Dunaway and Justin Stolk; her great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Alyssa, Alyvia Gaffey, Ivy, Drake Mills and Jaycee Dunaway; and her brother Roy Bell of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial to the Alzheimer's Association has been established.
