He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hans and Arletta Hans (Hartman); his son Jeffrey Scott Hans; and his pet Nutmeg. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Hans (Johnson); his siblings, Julie Lindstrom (Steve) and Ronald Hans (Gretchen); and his children, Bethany Hans (Kane Hamilton), Christopher Hans, Timothy Hans (Lindsey), Tamara Ivory (Daniel), L. James Hebeler (Jesse) and Daniel Hebeler (Thamyres Pedrosa). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
