He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Vogel (Norman) and Marvin Vogel. He is survived by: his wife Lois Meurs-Wierenga; his son Scott Vogel (Angela) of Fenton, MO; his granddaughters, Elaina and Erica Vogel; and his stepchildren, Duane Wierenga of Colorado Springs, CO, Rev. Daniel Wierenga (Kelley) of Colona, IL and Suzanne Wierenga-Keller of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Fulton Kiwanis Club.
