He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe J. Sikkema and Gertrude Sikkema (Wilkins); his former wife June I. Hoogheem; his children, Susan Kay Dransfeld (Hans G.) of Huntington, WV, Bruce W. Sikkema (Betty) of Thomson, IL and Clark Sikkema (Donna Duvall) of Spragueville, IA; his grandchildren, Robert B. Sikkema (Trisha), Bhrett Sikkema (Marycat), Lisa Davis, Jonathan Sikkema, Tristan Sikkema (Joni), Evan Sikkema (Cassie), Thomas Dransfeld, Paul Dransfeld and Maggie Dransfeld; his brothers, Willis Sikkema (Lois) of Fulton, IL and Arnold Sikkema (Roberta) of Thomson, IL.; his wife Maya Banowitz; and his sister Wilma Jean Stadt. He was also cherished by fourteen great grandchildren.
