He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob H. Norman and Gertrude Norman (Hoogheem); and his siblings, Lois Bush, Mary Temple, Ardith "Arkie" Zuidema, LaVonne Dykema, Eunice Liebert, Leota Norman and Gerald "Jocko" Norman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
