He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Delzell and Marie Delzell (Christner); and his siblings, Jerry Delzell and Diana Bernhart. He is survived by: his wife Judi of Fulton; his children, Stephanie Smith (Eric) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and Chad Delzell (Stacey) of Camanche, Iowa; his grandchildren, Spencer, Hallie Smith, Caleb and Michael Delzell; and also Raymond Delzell (Donna) of Wayland, Iowa..

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Fulton Presbyterian Church in Paul's name.
